There are many Career option available with different eligibility criteria suits for candidate with different Qualification. A student can get a job in private company right after the School and College. But there is always a situation of fear to get fire from the office. So everyone try to join a Govt./Public sector Unit to make the life tension free.
So a candidate has many option to choose from. There are 3 top Organisation that conduct the most exam in India and these are UPSC, SSC and the IBPS.

Now lets talk about the IBPS(Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection)
IBPS conduct exam on behalf of Banks and Insurance Companies. Before the year 2016, IBPS is the only organisation among the top three that conduct exam Online. As the trend changes SSC also started to conduct the exams online. IBPS conducts five different exam every year and those are IBPS PO(Probationary Officer), IBPS Clerk, RRB(Regional Rural Bank) Officer Scale, RRB office Assistant and IBPS SO(Specialist Officer). IBPS conduct all these exam online which makes the recruitment process transparent and there is little to no chance of any discrepancy in the whole process. The whole Selection process takes less time and due to this, Banking Profession attract most of the youth toward it. For every recruitment(excluding the IBPS SO), the eligibility criteria is same. The examination fee for every exam is also same.Lets talk about who can apply for the exams conducted by IBPS:-

A candidate age between 20 year to 30 year can apply for Officer Level Jobs and 20 year to 28 year can apply for Clerical/Assistant Level Jobs.

For Officer Level Jobs there are three stages:-
1.Preliminary Examination
This is of qualifying nature. The most important thing is that a candidate has to qualify in every section of the exam. This mean that a candidate has to clear the cutoff of all the section individually and the overall cutoff as well. Marks secured in Preliminary exam will not count on later stage.

2.Mains Examination
The mains examination contains the same rule of clearing every section individually. The marks secured in mains Examination decide the candidate's fortune.
3.Interview
After Clearing the Preliminary and Mains Exam, all the successful candidates called for interview round. There are 4-5 member in Interview panel who takes the interview of candidates and give the marks as per their performance.

For Clerk/Assistant Level jobs there are two stages exactly similar to IBPS PO just the only difference of Interview which was discontinued from last year after Govt announcement.

NOTE- I have share the updated pattern of Exam. Till now no news comes regarding the IBPS SO Examination pattern that's why i haven't shared in this post. As soon as i get any information about the IBPS SO exam pattern i will share that with you all.
